One day a brilliant beautiful fragrant flower with attractive colours met a Pearl, which lives far in the bottom of the sea and has none of these characteristics. Both got acquainted with each other. The flower said, “Our family is large; roses and daises are members of the family. And there are many other species that are various and countless each has a distinctive scent, appearance etc
Suddenly a tinge of distress appeared on the face of the Flower. “ Nothing accounts for sorrow in your talk. So why are you depressed? Asked the pearl.
“Human beings deal with us carelessly, they slight us. They don’t grow us for our own good, but to get pleasure from our fragrance and our beautiful appearance. They throw us on the street or in the garbage can after we are dispossessed with the most valuable property; brilliance and fragrance.”
Then the flower sighed. Then it said to the Pearl, “Speak to me about your life. How do you live? How do you feel? You are buried in the deep bottom of the sea.”
The Pearl answered, “Although I have none of your distinctive colors and scent, humans think I am precious. They do the impossible to acquire us. They go on long journeys, dive deep in the seas searching for us. You might be astounded to find that, the farther I we live the more beautiful and brilliant we become. That is what raises up our value, that is what they think. We live in thick dark shell isolated in the dark seas. Nonetheless am happy and proud to live in a safe zone that is far from wanton and mischievous hands and still humans consider us highly valuable.”
Do you realize what the flower and the Pearl symbolize?
Try to think… think… and think…
The flower is the unveiled woman who shows her charms. And the Pearl is the veiled woman who conceals her beauties. I hope that thing will bring to the sisters that don’t wear Hijab the understanding of how precious Muslim women are! And why Allah ordained her to cover her charms. For those sisters that do wear Hijab they should know their value and their worth and keep on with the Hijab, a regalia From Allah!.....
